[Fourlanders] Looking for some help and advice

I don't believe that one basestaion is going to cover both the house and shack.
I would get two basestations (one for the house and one for the shack) and
however many handsets you need.  Get the newer digital DECT handsets.  They
operate at 1.9 GHz so no interference with Wi-Fi, etc.  Just do a google search
on DECT and you will find plenty of info along with numerous products.  Can I
have the dial phone for the AT&T museum?  I work with people who have never seen
a dial phone except maybe a photo.

Subject: [Fourlanders] Looking for some help and advice

If figured it would be most useful to just ask on the reflector a couple
of questions:

I want to put new cordless phones in my house and and maybe the shack.
Probably just one base station and maybe 2 or 3 other handsets with
their own charger bases with caller ID.  Any recommendations?  You know
I need help as I still have a dial phone!!

Another request:  Does anyone have an older Sony digital 8 video camera?
I have an analog Sony 8mm which is a great camera that I have taped
all the SVHFS conferences with.  If I can find one of the later Sony
Digital 8's, I think they had the capability to give a digital output
from an analog tape so that it could be put on digital media.  That is
something I'd like to do with all my old tapes to archive them and make
them more useful and available.

Thanks, Bob
