As some of the residents of this reflector may already know, the ARRL announced that the VUAC will sunset at the end of this month, Jul 31st. This is a political term used when it is believed that the usefulness of the committee has come to an end and it the committee members are officially terminated. 

So yes, I got my ass canned! This could be a good thing or a bad thing but now the opinions I voice are my own (which they always have been) but because of my ARRL function and expected duties, I acted in the League's best interest when approached with questions about what was going on. 

As of Jul 31st , I am free to speak of the issues and problems that hinder our enjoyment in this VHF and above aspect of the hobby and will help enable anyone that desires to bring an issue and/or question to the correct personal at the ARRL. If the FLWSS wishes this to be a topic of discussion at th e next meeting, I will be more than happy to share if I am able to attend.
