Conditions were not great on Saturday. It was a struggle to slug out some
QSOs. Sunday saw some openings mid-morning into the afternoon but I had to
disconnect my antennas due to thunderstorms. I also had to leave Sunday for
the airport to do a work trip.
I was looking forward to the WSJT meteor scatter skeds. I was getting a
little disappointed since I didn't hear K5QE at all. I did decode AA4ZZ but
they did not hear me. I also was close to a sked with W3CCX but I never got
an RRR from them. Later in the night I did hear bursts from K5QE calling CQ
but they never responded.. I ended up with two meteor scatter contacts. One
with K8GP and the other with K3EOD - both on 6M. Nothing on 2M. I didn't
hear a peep.
I am in the new 3 band pip-squeak class.
