[Fourlanders] High Altitude Balloon launch Saturday morning

High altitude balloon launch is scheduled for 10AM Saturday, 11 October.
That's tomorrow!

Come watch the action from the pits and meet the folks who worked
behind the scenes to make this happen.

We will gather at the intersection of Highway 9 (Alpharetta Highway)
and Bethelview Road, in the grassy area next to Ingles.

If you can't make it, try to track the balloon like a DX spot 20 miles high
- that moves.

Two beacons are on-board:


Ten milliwatt Off-On Keying CW at 433.900 MHz +/-5KHz  continuous, sounds a
bit chirpy.
It can be heard on your FM HT also - it will sound like carrier
interruption.

One Watt FM voice is DNO 432.200 MHz.  Beacon duty cycle is 10 seconds, 10
seconds off.
