[Fourlanders] 6m antenna problem

My MFJ-269 suddenly started showing 22.5 volts during the POST.
I had it loaded with NiMh batteries, all well charged.

It still made measurements, and I took my data.

I pulled all the batteries out and put them back in.
Now it registers 13.4 volts.

And after all this time, I just noticed that the impedance meter is
disabled in UHF mode.

SWR staying much too high like 4:1 at operating frequencies and higher elsewhere.  The stacked pair showed 1:15 swr at 135 MHzCould this be because of the cold weather.  It's probably only about 35 outside here right now.
