We are still on course for the contest coming up this weekend. Plenty of
ops for the stations and a very full house of overnighters!!

Ron and Johnny have been up to set up 432 and 6m and I have the 222
station up and running. Ron came last Friday and we put up the 432
antennas and got all the computers connected and tested on the network.
Kos will come up Saturday morning early and get the 2m station set up
for the contest.

We have the following 13 operators coming: Johnny K4SQC, Kos N4NIA, Bob
W4ZST and Ron WW8RR the four band captains; Kim WG8S, Sherman W4ATL,
Bill KI4US, Jerry W5TDY, Jack K5FSE, Ivan K4VJM, Paul W4SKI and his
friend Mace KD4??? and possibly Paul W6XA. Since the beds were filled,
we've overflowed into air mattress/floor space for the contest. Jerry
is actually the only one not staying over. I also expect a number of
visitors both on Saturday and Sunday. Let's hope we have some good
propagation and activity to keep us all busy.

Meals: We will meet at Roosters at 11:30 on Saturday for those wishing
to meet up with us on the way up for lunch. Jerry will be taking care
of Saturday night dinner. I will have breakfast and lunch available on
Sunday for all those listed above. We'll play Sunday evening dinner by
ear and maybe just get takeout Pizza for those of us left Sunday evening
to finish up the contest.

Jim W4KXY has a business trip to Dallas that won't finish until Saturday
morning and he decided to go visit with our friend Marshall K5QE at his
multi-op contest station in Texas. Don't be coming back with any
Texas-sized big ideas!!! Jim WE8W had vacation time problems and is
saving his for the September weekend on the mountain so we'll miss him
here for this contest.

That should bring us up to date. See you all on Saturday morning,
either here or at Roosters. Anyone wanting to come up here first is
welcome and can go back to Roosters with us for lunch.

Anyone needing directions, contact me. 73, Bob
