I also attended the Mid-Atlantic conference near Philadelphia in late
September.  Learned a lot of good stuff there too.  I have the
proceedings on CD.  I don't know if they are going to post it or not
yet.  Look on the conference website for the TOC and if you find
something interesting, I can get it off the CD for you.  A couple of the
articles are on the packratvhf.com page along with the latest
'CheeseBits' Newsletter with comments and pix from the conference. One
article available there that you may like is titled 'Some of my favorite
test gear comes from China'  where he reviews some very affordable
equipment.

Also part of the conference was a Friday afternoon work session on N1MM
given by W3SZ Roger Rehr and K3TUF Phil Theiss.  Phil was one of the
major perpetrators of the SuperConference in 2016 and a big-time VHF
contester.  I learned a lot from the session.  We each had brought our
own computers with the latest version of N1MM. There were probably 20 in
the session.   They showed us how much of it worked and some tips and
tricks.

Roger has made pdf's of the presentation slides and made them available
on his web site.  http://w3sz.x10.mx/PackRats.html
Look to the bottom of the page.  There are complete pdf's and also
shorter 'cookbook' versions available.  The third session pdf is on
setting up for vhf contesting.  Check them out and I'm sure you will
also find something useful.

For those of us interested in station automation, Roger has put together
much info from a symposium started at the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Conference
and it's all just above the N1MM stuff on his web page, entitled:
Station Automation Symposium from 2017 Mid-Atlantic VHF Conference.

They have done a lot of work on this and made it available.
