[Fourlanders] upcoming contests info

well, with the adventures, it looks like some interesting contest
operations in the near future.

in several discussions with the club leadership, we have proposed a couple
of interesting operation solutions:

- remote operation of stations at the W4ZST QTH. this has some interesting
challenges, including amp and rotor control.
- club operation from our home stations.  a 175 mile circle based in
Cartersville, GA includes Paul, Bill, Kim, and the folks near around
Atlanta.  This would allow each member to operate from their home QTH in
the contest and comine our club score.
We, as a club, must submit a complete list of operators prior to the
contest. We are building that list now.  If you wish to participate, please
make sure you are a current member for 2020.
W4KXY is busy, but he can help process dues. If you have quesitons, contact
me.


thanks, and lets get on the air for the VHF contest in June maybe from our
own homes...
hopefully, this will be a short term solution, but we plan to be prepared
for whatever comes.
