[Fourlanders] upcoming contest effort summary - responses needed

Bill,

On Option 3 - I suggests cutoff date of EOB Friday, May 22, 2020 for the
Contest Club List.  This list needs to be submitted to the ARRL, processed
and then approved by the club president.  All of this has to be completed
before Friday, June 12, 2020

So to your questions:

Option #1:  I am willing to go to MIle High if open.  I will have the
wife's Subaru and can pull at best a garden trailer.  I can sleep in the
back of the Subi meaning I don't need the supply trailer as a "hotel" so we
could go back to the tent for our "stuff."  Read one less thing to pull.  I
would like to bring 1296 with the pair of loopers.  One thing we learned
last time is 1296 really needs its' own mast and rotator.  Which means one
more thing to pull.  If we have all of the basics covered - 6, 2, 222, 432,
generator, etc. covered it would be nice to bring 1296 along but in my mind
it is clearly riding space (and puller) available.  If it has to stay home,
too bad, so sad but so be it.  One other thing - we will have to practice
social distancing.  To me that means operators only in Great White and the
6m trailer.   Maybe to encourage that we leave the extra office chairs at
home leaving  4 chairs in Great white and 2 in the 6m/cooking trailer.  And
more camp chairs for visiting outside under the tent.- pray for now rain!

Option #2:  Yes, almost all of us are at higher risk by age alone not to
mention all of the other medical stuff we each carry with us.  If we go to
Bob's the shack tour will have to be cancelled.  To maintain social
distancing there will have to be an "operators only" rule for the operating
positions.  At 6 feet of separation there probably is no room for 1296 in
the shack.  We might want to consider moving 1296 (if it comes) and one
other operating position into Great White.  That would put three operating
positions in the shack and two at opposite ends of Great White and that
would probably work   The weather should be nice so the story telling will
have to happen outside.. My suggestion is everyone brings their own
headset/mic.  Cleaning them is next to impossible.  If everyone can agree
to all this at a minimum I would be willing to come.

Option #3;  If #1 and #2 fail, then I would be willing to give this a try.
Most likely the best I can do is 6m and 2m.  But that is better than
nothing.  Please see my comments above as to cutoff dates for the contest
club submission.
