[Fourlanders] CQ World Wide VHF Contest Next Weekend

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that next weekend is the CQ World Wide VHF Contest. Starts Saturday the 18th at 2 PM and runs to Sunday at 5 PM. This is my personal favorite contest because it is just 6 and 2 meters. Makes equipment setup and operating much easier. For the details go to https://www.cqww-vhf.com/ In the past a smaller group of W4NH operators, including myself, have participated in this contest and done fairly well. The good news is they also have a club competition and it isn’t necessary to submit the club name and operators prior to the test. It is necessary that we be consistent in the club name we use when submitting our logs. I suggest we use the Four Landers VHF/UHF Group name we all used in June. The only downside is this contest is much stricter about using assistance. I don’t believe that we will be able to use the chat on Slack to coordinate like we did in June. Feel free to read the rules and provide your thoughts on that. I plan to be on and hope to hear and work everyone.
