[Fourlanders] Grid Display for Driving

I’ll poll the collective here first…

I am preparing for driving from Alpharetta, Georgia, to Corvallis, Oregon in mid/late November. The return would be early January. I am intending to do a bit of rover operations along the way. It will be a tryout for me. If I enjoy it, I will work towards doing more.

I would like to have a display that shows me (at minimum) my current grid (6 characters preferred.) I know there are plenty of different apps that can show me my current grid square on my iPhone. I want this information while driving with a simple screen and large text. I won’t use one that requires phone manipulation while driving.

Is there one of them that works with CarPlay?

There are also plenty of computer programs that can show this information. I shouldn’t be playing with those while driving. Yes, I can use them when I’m stopped. I intend to have HF and 6m phone while driving. I want to have knowledge of my current grid to take advantage of 6m propagation enhancements. It would be even better to know how close the next grid is in the direction I’m traveling.

Are there any 144/440 mobiles (maybe with APRS) that show the 6 character grid as an easy to read sticky display?

Has anyone seen a product or DIY project that could become my driving rover grid display?

Thanks all for reading this far!
