There were 7 of us active and former Fourlanders at the K5AND/W6JKV BBQ 
in Austin on September 29 and 30.  It was a great get together and we 
got to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.  The food was 
excellent and the technical talks were informative.   This is Dick's 
email after the event and links to pictures and the slides of the talks.

Folks …

A number of you were kind enough to share pictures taken at the BBQ, so 
here are the links to lots of great memories.

Special thanks for support from Elecraft, Flex, and Yaesu, for showing 
their great products and being here to ‘splain how they work!

We hope many of you got to see Glen Johnson’s tre cool self-contained 
mobile van.

Extra special thanks to Al Ward, Joel Harrison, Tony Emmanuel, and Tom 
Whitted, for keeping the margaritas flowing, donuts, and popcorn; Susan 
King for the great sign-in boards; Bob Farmer for organizing the tail 
gate area, and Ralph Smith and Marsha McDonald for helping with tables 
and chairs.

Finally, I believe you all were treated to some of the best Tech Talks 
ever in 27 years of BBQs!

Thanks to Jon Jones, Mike Crownover, Joe Taylor, Carl Luetzelschwab, 
Lance Collister, Al Ward, and Hector Garcia for their great contributions.

And George Fremin and Tom Apel worked hard to get the electronics for 
the presentations organized and working smoothly, Thanks guys!
