[Fourlanders] January VHF contest

Well I didn't get quite the rise out of the group that I expected.  It 
was all in fun about cancelling since Jerry couldn't come.  He will be 
greatly missed but we will somehow carry on the tradition of overeating 
and plenty of food without him this time.

We will do the contest as usual at the W4ZST contest zoo location.  I'm 
sure we will have enough operators willing to come and operate.  The 
moon situation is pretty good for the weekend so we will be able to take 
advantage of that.  So far, all the stations are still operational and 
no current problems.  New relays both on the 2m and 432 Lunar Link amps 
and they have been tested and working OK.  And we have backups now too.  
No further problems with the 2m power divider so I think that one I put 
up to replace the bad one will continue to be fine.

Let me know if you are coming and whoever wants to stay.  Bed space will 
be as usual.

We will figure out what to do about meals.  We just won't have Jerry's 
great BBQ spread on Saturday night.  There are plenty of take out places 
available in Dahlonega and I may do some kind of crock pot meal also.  I 
will definitely take care of breakfast and lunch on Sunday.  I thought 
about Chili but that isn't a good idea with this group in a closed 
space!  We will come up with something, maybe even take out pizza as we 
can't go wrong with that either.

Plan on our usual get together for lunch on Saturday at 11:30 at Roosters.

We are still almost six weeks away for the contest.  Let me know if you 
are coming.
