Indeed.  My only observation would be that WL 11.xx under XP also had temperamental audio and we were always fiddling with it as well.  I cannot recall a single instance in my time with you all of turning on all five computers (stations plus server) and having everything just work.  WL 12.xx under Win7 requires some new ways of fiddling with the audio in particular and we have not quite learned the new tricks yet.  But old dogs can learn new tricks and we will get this figured out s well.
