Jim,

I have defined "temporary" to mean something that can be easily removed, no guy wires and does not look like a Rohn tower.  And, yes, it is overkill. I need to get above the eves but stay below the roof line so as not to be visible from the street. I have put them on fiberglass push up masts and that worked okay but it probably a bit risk as they are probably a bit much for the usual fiberglass pushup mast.

Define temporary.  Some 2” aluminum tubing and a little W4ZST engineering and I am sure something could be fabricated.  Total cost of $100 and an afternoon.  The military mast seems to me to be serious overkill for an eggbeater.

Subject: [Fourlanders] Military Crank Up Mast

Gentlemen,

I really would like to put up my eggbeaters for satellite work on my back deck.  Given my HOA it needs to be a "temporary" setup.  I know there are several military mast in inventory out the in Fourlanders world.  Would any of you be willing to part with one?  The one I have has my EME array on it an is not very portable right now.

The alternative is a 26 foot aluminum crank up from HRO.  The military mast sure would be more cost effective.

Thanks for considering my request,
