Few small changes this afternoon...
Placed the beacon on a new power supply with a repeater grade fan blowing on it.
I made an aluminum tubing 1/2 wave rigid dipole. It was mounted on my tower today. It is facing pretty much NE/SE at this time.
The biggest change today is going to horizontal polarization from vertical.

Solid S-6 into the Cabin Shack this morning between Blairsville and Blue Ridge. Using an FT-847 and the 5 element horizontal yagi.
What is the beacon's 6 digit grid?

It is on 50072 CW.
On a vert up at 50ft currently at 5 watts.
