We had a successful work day Friday.

Rick (sorry, I do not I know Rick's call...) came up and serviced the generator including an oil change.  He noticed that the oil pressure was reading low but fortunately that simply required replacement of the gauge. So the generator is now ready for field day with the North Fulton guys and the September QSO party.

Ron went through several computers updating to the final release of N1MM logger+ for the contest. We also had to install the new country file, and there seems to be a sporadic time synchronization message but I think we have a plan to resolve that.  The 222 station PC was acting strange so since will be using k4sqc computer on 6M the 6M computer was moved to 220.
We also put up to new 222 crossed Yagi's which should allow us to do EME.
We also found an audio setting that we should be careful of on the 220 station that was inhibiting n1mm live audio & Record playback. The n1mm logger+ audio was checked off.

Multiple rotor cables were made modified and installed to get us ready for the contest this weekend.

Kos will be unable to attend due to family issues so that leaves us with operator position and beds open if somebody wants to sign up. (Sherman?)

We were joined by a new guy Rich KX4KK who is planning to join us this weekend and in September.  Also Johnny and I met a prospective new new member from The Waynesville area KF1SH. He may try to join us this weekend but he wasn't sure about that but certainly for September.

Currently will be using K4SQC flex and monster computer on 6m. This should allow us to put 1.21 gigawatts of CPU power to literally pull msk144 signals out of the air. The station will be using Jim's new solid-state kilowatt amp.

Since Kos will not be joining us we're going to use John's flex and computer on the 2 meter station as well as his solid state amp.

Looking forward to seeing everybody this weekend and working those who can't make it.

Regards,
