A number of people beyond the beta test team loaded V2.0 rc-1.  Some thing very strange is going on with it that acts like a virus.  Call it "virusoid"  It seems that the tones can become corrupted in the course of a transmission with one machine passing it on to the next machine during the routine data exchange.. It was all over the WSJT-X Group this morning.  Best thing is to stick with WSJT-X V 1.9.1, the current General Release version until the test team gets this figured out.
