Good morning!

Here is the latest update for the possibility of severe storms Sunday across north and central Georgia.

Changes from the Previous Update
We are still in an Enhanced rick area but the area has been modified a bit. Currently all of North GA and Northern portions of Central GA are in the enhanced risk area. The rest of the state is in a Slight or Marginal risk area
What
Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms possible with the main threats being...
  • Damaging wind
  • Large Hail
  • Isolated tornadoes
Where and When
A band of showers and thunderstorms will enter NW Georgia just before sunrise and continue moving east across the state through Sunday evening.
