Thanks for getting this fixed.  I think name changes really should not "delete old recrds" but what do I know...

All,

As we suspected - we got caught up in the name change.

The good news is for our first go at this we would have come in  6th out of 44 Medium clubs between Roadrunners MIcrowave Group at 422,900 and Florida Contest Group at 369,035.  Way to go team!  And I will bet my eligible score was 0 because when they checked the FCC database K4SQC is no longer a listed call - go figure!

Good morning John,

My apologies for the club not being included in the June totals.  I think the timing of changing the club name in the database was probably the cause of this, as when scoring was run, the club name in the logs didn’t have a matching eligibility list in the database.

I can pull the entries of the club for the June VHF scores and tabulate the score manually.  In the future be sure  to use “FOURLANDERS CONTEST TEAM” as the club name.  The earliest list submission for FLCT is 2020-08-20, so I have no record of the old club eligibility lists to check against who was on the list at the time of June VHF, as the old database record was deleted.

The following entries were received with a club name of FLCT in June-  All except for K4SQC appear on the eligibility list of 2020-08-20- so I’ll use that as a basis of who’s eligible from the log submissions.

Subject: Club Score ARRL June VHF Contest

Folks,

We were somewhat disappointed not to see our score in the club scores listing.  Not sure but I think this is the issue:

From we don't know where - ancient history - the name for our group was the Four Landers VHF/UHF Group.  We were not crazy about the name and had requested a name change to the Fourlanders Contest Team.  At the time we needed to submit scores the only choice was the Four Landers VHF/UHF Group and so that is how logs were submitted.  Now I look and Four Landers VHF/UHF Group is no longer a valid club name but Fourlanders Contest Team is and in fact all of the club rosters I submitted under Four Landers VHF/UHF Group have now been tied to Fourlanders Contest Team

Not asking for a club rescore but it sure would be nice to know what the Club Score was for the June contest.  Not sure but we may have the same issue for the September VHF contest.

Henceforth we will submit scores for the Fourlander Contest Team.

Please advise

John Kludt (ex-K4SQC)
