Sorry. That sent you soon. I was thinking about winter field day, but its after the contest dang it. Glad there is this activity prior to the contest.
I wonder if there will be a user defined contest file for n1mm+....  I'll have to check.

Thought that I would forward this to see if there is any interest. I will probably get on to check things out before the January contest.

Spread the word to other lists (if you haven't seen this there already)!
Are you ready for a VHF contest with a different and very exciting approach?  Good!  Happy New Year!
The Rochester VHF Group presents: The Winter VHF Sprint.
In summary:

It lasts for only ONE hour, starting at 1600z on THIS Saturday, January 2, 2021 (ahem...that's 11:00 AM ET).
Make contacts on all three VHF bands: 6 meters, 2 meters, 1.25 meters.  VHF = 30 to 300 MHz, after all.

January VHF Contest scoring is in effect (so logging is easy).
Power up, have fun, post scores to 3830scores.com for all  to see!
Think:  "60 minutes of mayhem" (or that's what we hope for this 1st year) and a good opportunity to tune-up your station ahead of the ARRL January VHF contest (which will last a lot longer and allow a lot more bands).

Full detailed information is on the Rochester VHF Group's website: http://www.RVHFG.org
Send questions to: RVHFG1949@gmail.com

PS: We considered running a "UHF Sprint" (300-3000 MHz) on the following hour but decided to give this VHF Sprint a "test flight" first.
