As a follow up to Bill's distribution of the Fourlanders Operators for this weekend, I wanted to share a tool I created last June when we did this club aggregate scoring for the first time.

One of the key distributed operator strategies for club aggregate scoring is to work as many club members, on as many bands,  as you can to maximize point harvesting. This contest I count our operators in 6 different grids. Working a lot of our own operators on the higher bands can mean A LOT of multipliers.

Most of us will be monitoring and coordinating scheds on the Fourlanders channel of Slack. Much of this coordination happens on Sunday afternoons during a contest when things begin to really slow down, unless there happens to be a wild band opening on 6 meters !

Last year I used the operators list to create a reference spread sheet listing each station, my beam heading to each station, their heading to me, and the distance between our stations.

I use W4SM's program "Wingrid"  (http://www.keplerian.com/) to calculate this from each operator's 6 digit grid square. Wingrid is a handy tool for VHF-UHF contesting and you should download it to your computer. Nothing to install, it is a self contained executable.
