The view to the north from the parking lot has the 600' summit blocking it, so when I can get on the top I am sure I will be able to hear them and work stations to the north easily.I had taken and setup 10GHz there but the wind early in the day was so strong I took it down - the wind at one point blew my 1296 antenna over - luckily, I caught it before it made contact with something solid.Hopefully the shuttle will start running again at BTB in a few weeks and I can get up to the summit with my gear where I will have a 360-degree clear view.Next Saturday 4/2 should be a microwave activity day here in Georgia so I will most likely be back up on BTB with my 1296 setup at the parking lot then.73'sDon W.KD4APP
