THE STRONGEST FLARE YET: Sunspot AR3842 exploded again today, producing the strongest solar flare of Solar Cycle 25 so far. The X9-category blast hurled a CME directly toward Earth. This makes two CMEs now en route to our planet. The forecast calls for auroras this weekend. Full story @ Spaceweather.com.
