[HOOPER] Re: Hooper seeking information

Checked out a Gen. Thomas L. Clingman SCA at the genealogy library yesterday 
in Orlando, FL. He served in the confederate army in NC. As the name Clingman 
keeps popping up in my family was wondering if anyone knew what the L. stood 
for?
I understand GGgrandmother was Martha Little
GGgrandfather Henry Hooper(which leads nowhere, from Jackson Co,)My Ggrand 
father was Thomas Clingman Hooper born 1855 in JacksonCo. NC, then there was 
my dad Louis Clingman Hooper, brother, nephew.
