Hello List;
My 4th G Grandfather is a James William Hooper, He was born in 1802 in =
North Carolina, the oldest data I have been able to establish on him is =
the 1850 Trigg Co. Ky census.
605-69 Hooper William 46 Farmer N.C.
Elizabeth 18 =
Tenn.
Mary Ann 13 =
Tenn
Frances J. 7 =
Tenn.
Jacob A. 11 =
Tenn.
Next door and living with the Burnett Family is my 3rd G Grandfather =
Abraham 18 Tenn. I put Abraham and James William Hooper togather =
from the 1880 Graves Co. Ky. Census. The above Elizabeth has Married =
Alfred Whitlow . Abraham is living next door and Abraham's son James is =
listed as a nephew in the Whitlow household.
=20
I am systematicly eliminating the 6 or 7 James William Hoopers on the =
1840 Tenn. Census that my be my 4th G Grandfather. Right now my search =
is focused on Monroe Co. Tenn.-187 It appears this James Wm. Hooper is =
most likely to be my line.
Any help is greatly appreciated and I am more than happy to share my =
information with anyone else.
