for New England bought amoung its passengers two young men, one William
Hooper age 18 and Thomas Marshall age 21. This William Hooper is
destined to become the father of the family of HOOPER's in America. Is
has never been proved with records that William Hooper is the son of
John Hooper the Bishop of Gloucester.

Notes for Sarah Hooper:
She was tried and condemmed of witchcraft and held in prison a long
time, but was freed at the time of the general delivery. By the act of
the General Court June 30, 1703, the attainer was removed from her. Her
sons petitioned for the removal of attiner and insertion of her name in
the record of those freed February 19, 1711-1712 after her death.
