Hello,
George K. Hooper died before 12 Apr 1829 possibly in Virginia where his 
daughter Catherine married John B. Benton on that date. Catherine was born 
about 1815 and was referred to as his youngest daughter so George could 
have been married as early as, say, 1800 and born as early as, say, 1775.
Catherine was supposed to have been born in NY but I believe this Hooper 
Family is a Virginia family and lived in the Richmond and Hampton areas and 
the names of some of her siblings may have been Charles ( may have been a 
soldier), Lucinda (unmarried), Mary (possibly m. a Hughes), Thomas, and 
William.
I would be so grateful if anyone could give me a lead toward identifying 
George K. Hooper.
