[HOOPER] RE Thomas Hooper SR

It is possible that this is the Thomas Hooper who has appeared in previous 
records as the father of Absalom Hooper (died 1845), primarily in a DAR 
application.  The Thomas Hooper listed on the DAR application was a merchant 
in Savannah and died while returning to England, leaving as heirs only 
nephews and nieces and England.

It would be wonderful, however, if in fact a documented father for Absalom 
Hooper had at last bee found.
