[HOOPER] Hooper Reunion Reminder!

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to repost Mary's message concerning the Hooper reunion in Hiawassee 
Georgia next month. For those of you that have not been before, this reunion 
is not typical of many reunions. Descendants have been showing up from many 
different Hooper lines each of the past eleven years since the reunion was 
started. This reunion draws the attention to many well know genealogist that 
has published family & county history books. It is very difficult to meet 
everyone since the attendance has been over 200 for the past few years. 

The reunion is held on top of a hill that provides a beautiful view of the 
mountains and usually a cool breeze. A covered dish dinner is planned on 
Saturday and there is usually a get-together on Friday evening. Sunday is 
reserved for personal visits and many go to visit Absalom Hooper's grave in

Upper Pavilion at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.  10:00 A.M until???
So make your plans now.  Lets have a record turnout this year.  Bring any new 
family info that you would like to share.  Remember, we are always open to 
suggestions that will make our reunion even better.  And we need nelp in 
planning and organizing.

Saturday.
