[Hooper] Ledbetter/Hooper Research

Hello Hooper List,

There is been a recent renewed interest in finding the mother and father of 
the Margaret Ledbetter, born 1794, that married John Hooper, also the Sarah 
Millissa Van Dora Ledbetter, born 1811, South Carolina, that married Isaac 
Hooper. It is assumed that Isaac married Sarah approximately 1828 in Haywood 
County, NC. Margaret married John Hooper @1813, location unknown, but maybe 
SC. 

>From some documentation that was passed down, Margaret Ledbetter's father was 
a Revolutionary Solider. Since I am a member of the SAR, I have access to the 
records for which the Ledbetter sir names were claimed for membership. This 
is what I found:

Drury Ledbetter, served Virginia
Henry Ledbetter, served North Carolina
Isaac Ledbetter, served 4th Reg North Carolina, Continental

There maybe other Ledbetter compatriots that is included on the DAR records 
or may not be listed at all. 

IF ANYONE HAS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE LEDBETTERS PLEASE RESPOND TO THE 
LIST SINCE SEVERAL MEMBERS ARE INTERESTED IN THE FINDINGS. 

BTW.. I am trying to reach Mary Hooper Crocker and the phone number I have 
does not work. Can someone forward me her e-mail and/or phone number.
