I have copies of the Pension files for both James Hooper (Obediah 1) 
and his wife Elizabeth and nowhere do they mention a middle name or 
initial for James nor does the Muster Roll of South Carolina Infantry, 
American Revolution, August 25, 1778. It seems inconsistent that it 
would be used in this instance.  Could this be another James Hooper?
