[Hooper] James Hooper geneology question

Hello,
I am working on family geneology. My GGG Grandfather was Enoch Williams, who
married Mary Hooper, as I believe you know. I have almost no information on
Mary's parents, except for a very old, probably 1862, handwritten biography
of one of Enoch and Mary's sons, William Fitzer Williams. This biography
lists Mary's father as follows:
"...Edward Hooper, of the City of Worcester, England a Captain in the
British Navy a prisoner of war in France about 1800..."
If I understand the text below, you appear to have Mary's father as James
Hooper. See Below:

Can you shed any light for me on James, are you confident that this was Mary
Hooper's father's name? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I
would be happy to email to you the document I refer to so you can study it
yourself.
