Naomi, thanks for responding, well that's messed up that he was in the removal of the Indian Wars, I'm not to up on my history as I'd like to be but if I'm not mistaken the removal wasn't wanted or is this relocation your speaking of for good reason or was it the trail of tears?  Anyway that's the way things were back then, I don't know anybody of the Hooper line to do DNA testing, wish I could be of some help.  Oh, & yes I've been in touch w/Karen off & on, thanks.
