In Hooper Genealogy, Flora Hooper (Collier) stated the following "In 
the third generation, Obediah Hooper married Phoebe Cleveland bringing 
to the Hooper descendants some of the greatest and proudest names in 
our American History.  The Cleveland line has produced such great men 
as Colonel Benjamin Cleveland, hero of King's Mountain, Thomas Alva 
Edison and Grover Cleveland, President of the United States to name a 
few".  The Hooper DNA Project Participant #7682 Philip Hooper proves
