Dear fellow Hooper researcher

My maiden name was Hooper & I have been tracing my ancestry. The furthest
back I've managed to document is the marriage of Thomas John Hooper to Susan
Taylor on 3/11/1850 at the R.C. Cathedral in Manchester. Thomas was
christened on 13/9/1827 at St Peter's, Liverpool. Susan came from Ireland.
Unfortunately the reference number in the register was incorrect, & I was
unable to obtain a copy of the marriage certificate, which would have told
me who their parents were. ( As far as I know, Thomas' parents were John &
Elizabeth). Thomas & Susan's children were:

Caroline, Susan, Victoria Alexandrina (married Forbes), Harry Voyce, Walter
Raleigh & James Stephen.

If anyone has information on this family, I would be very grateful to have
it.
