[Hooper] Levi Hooper

Hello everyone, I'm new to the Hooper digest.  My name is John and I'm in South Carolina.  My Hooper line began with a John Hooper in New York; one of his sons Levi E. Hooper moved to Texas, and then to Louisiana. He married Catherine Stehle of New Orleans.  Levi died about 1856 (I'm told in Richmond).  Catherine died in 1892 in New Orleans.  Their son Lee (Levi) E. Hooper Jr. b.1852 d.1941 is my great-great grandfather.
