Hi everyone,

Here is a copy of the 2004 Hooper Reunion letter for those that did not 
receive a copy.  I have tried every year at the reunion to emphasize the importance 
of giving me your address and keeping me updated on new addresses.  I sent 
out 500 letters this year and so far have received 75 back due to wrong 
addresses.  So if you did not get a newsletter this year it is 
because I do not have an address for you or a wrong address.  Below is a copy 
of the letter.

HOOPER NEWSLETTER 2004

Hello everyone,

I hope this letter finds you all in good health.  Well it has been almost a 
year since our last reunion and it is just about that time again.  You are all 
invited to attend the 15th annual Hooper and related families reunion in 
Hiawassee, Georgia, July 15th and 16th.  It will be 
held Friday night and all day Saturday at the Senior Citizen Building in 
Hiawasse, Georgia.  I hope all of you that arrive there on Friday will attend the 
Friday night meeting.  It is always a fun time visiting with all the kinfolk.  
The night meeting will begin about 6:00 P.M.
The Saturday meeting will begin about 10:00 A.M.  We would like for all of 
you to be thinking about someone to take on the responsibility of carrying on 
the Runion.  It would be good if we could get some new people to help out.  I 
don't think any of you would like to see the reunions stop.  I will still help 
all I can and as long as we can make the drive to Georgia.  We will discuss 
this at the Friday Night meeting.  
J.T. and I  moved to Bastrop, Texas last December.  It will be a shorter 
drive for us now.  We like living here, it is very different than living in deep 
south Texas.  Our new address is:
