GEORGE N. HOOPER
     George N. Hooper, 96, of Center died June 26, 2005.  Burial was  
in White Rock Cemetery.  Born September 13, 1908, in Aiken, he was  
the son of Charles C. Hooper and Mertie Dell Hinkle.  Mr. Hooper was  
married to Dollie Hooper and she preceded him in death.  Survivors  
include daughters, Mildred McSwain of Center, Marie Golden of Huxley,  
Georgie Waller of Kountze and Cynda Jones of Nacogdoches; son,  
Kenneth Hooper of Center; sister, Jewell Brown of Nacogdoches.

Charles C. Hooper was the son of Napoleon Bonapart Hooper, who we  
have been unable to connect to the Hooper family.  However, George N.  
Hooper, at the age of 95 years participated in the Hooper DNA Project  
and was a 25/25 match for known descendants of Obadiah Hooper.

We would still like to connect this family to our Obadiah Hooper  
family tree.  If anyone can help, please let us know.
