aft. 1850, m. Jane McCullough in Yalobusha County, MS 1832.  Could  
this be John M. Hooper who was a member of the 1st. Regt. Texas  
Permanent Volunteers from April 21, 1836- after Dec. 17, 1836 and  
later for the Civil War?
