ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE State of Georgia. PASSED IN  
MILLEDGEVILLE AT AN ANNUAL SESSION IN OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER.  
1830.
RESOLUTIONS WHICH ORIGINATED IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, Thursday, Dec. 16, 1830.

The committee on finance to whom was referred the comptroller's  
letters with the accompaning documents, to wit: the annual report of  
the Attorney and Solicitors General, that is George W. Crawford  
Attorney General, and John W. Hooper, Benjamin F. Hardeman, Turner H.  
Trippe, Mark A. Cooper and Joseph W. Jackson, Solicitors General,  
have had the same under consideration, by which it appears that  
various sums of money have been collected by those officers, and  
stated to be paid into the treasury, and that various other debts are  
in a train of collection, some of them considered bad and others  
doubtful, your committee would therefore recommend, the adoption of  
the following resolution.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of  
Georgia, in General Assembly met, That the Comptroller General, be  
instructed to continue his vigilance, in collecting the outstanding  
debts of the State.
