	Whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had & solemnized  
between James Hooper
and Susan H. Toler of said County; and the said James Hooper having  
complied with the requests
of the law for obtaining a license for that purpose; these are  
therefor to license & permit you
to join together in the Holy estate of matrimony according to the  
rites and ceremonies of your
church the said James Hooper and Susan H. Toler and for so doing this  
shall be your sufficient
warrant Given under my hand & seal as clerk of the Court of the said  
County of Goochland this
30th day of December 1829.
