Edmund Hooper was my old Master. Joseph Hooper was his son. Miss
Elisha Yarborough was his daughter. Others in the house were Betsey
Hobson, my mistress; Mrs. William Allen wife of Harwood Allen, Miss
Sarah Hooper (don't know who she married, Mr. Edmund Hooper, Jr.
(those are all).
Edmund Hooper is the son of Thomas Hooper and Unity. JOSEPH HENRY
HOOPER, b. 20 Jun 1807, Garthright House, Hanover, Virginia; d. 18 Jun
1882, Richmond, VA.
