[Hooper] Are we related

Hello Kathy:
Back in 1968 my husband was stationed at  Lakehurst, NJ and we lived in Tom's 
River. I was  surprised at so many  Businesses, Streets, etc. with the Hooper 
name in them. 
My mother was Julia Hooper from Jackson County, NC. Her  father was Manuel 
Hooper and my great grandfather was Hutson  Hooper. 
There are so many people on here who certainly would know.  Naomi Hooper (I 
can't remember her marred name) is very knowledgeable and has  worked all of 
her life on this. She was ill when she went back to Alaska and I  don't know how 
she is doing.If anyone knows please let me know.

My father died in  Malone, NY  11 Sept, I think 2003.
His name was George R.  Hooper.
He is buried in Malone cemetary along side his father and  grandfather.
Are you familiar with these Hooper's?  We also have a  cousin on my Father's 
side her name is Francis Hooper, she also lives in NY in  Owls Head.
My dad's brother Carlton Hooper resided in Toms River NJ, he was  the sheriff 
of Toms River and Hooper Avenue was named after our Hooper  family.
