According to Hooper Genealogy, A Southern Branch by Flora Hooper  
Collier, Vol.I, our ancestor came from Linkinhorne, County Cornwall,  
England.  Checking records I found on Linkinhorne Parish, Sources of  
Information, the only Hooper I found there in 1589, 1621, 1641, 1660,  
1713, 1744 and 1754 was WILLIAM HOOPER and July 25, 1718 John, son of  
William Hooper, baptized.
