Google Books, Rev. Samuel Davies+Hooper, page 577 you will find the sermon that Rev. Samuel Davies preached at the funeral of JAMES HOOPER August 21, 1756. This James Hooper is the ancestor of Thomas Hooper, 25/24 DNA Match for Obadiah Hooper. (It was thought it was 1754, but now we have an exact date). He was processioning lands in St. Paul's Parish, Hanover, Virginia on November 17, 1755.
