[Hooper] Obadiah Hooper

Checking the LDS Mormon Church Records/Genealogy Search for Obadiah Hooper (born abt 1720-1727)  the only reference I find showing  Richard Hooper as his Father shows Richard Hooper born abt 1694 and no other information.  I would like to know how many descendants believe Richard Hooper was his Father and what relevant information you can provide. Also, how many descendants believe another ancestor could be his Father and would like to explore that possibility?
Due to the loss of records in Hanover County and surrounding Counties, we may not be able to prove it, but it might point us to another direction.
