We had a great time with Kids' Day.  Thank you, BARC, for putting on a
great event.  The activity was good.  Ken, K5KA and I left two local boys
with a day they'll remember forever.

One of them, Kyle, is a no-code tech who left with a keyer on loan.  He'll
be back....

The other, Wes, will be breaking contest records in short order - one of
the OTs asked when he was going to get his own license and (without any
previous discussion of any kind) Wes blurted out "yes, as soon as
possible!"  His grandpa was a ham and everyone thinks gramma still has the
radios somewhere.  We'll find them and put him up a wire....

It was enough to bring a tear to the eyes of this OT.

You should have seen their faces when they heard crystal clear voices from:

Honolulu, Hawaii
Fairbanks, Alaska
Yokohama, Japan
Sao Paulo, Brazil
Sydney, Australia

This is a brilliant event.  Keep it up.
