We had a great time. First time we did this event. My daughter =
Elizabeth (8), my nephew Chris (10) and his cousin Kevin (8) joined in.
My Dad had two other grandkids, Dan (9) and Heather (9) at his place and =
we started off by having the kids talk to each other. The girls =
developed mike fright early on, so after the first contact, it was only =
the boys.
Chris has been studying for his license and this was one of his first =
times on the air. Kevin had spent the night at Chris', so we included =
him in the plan. He was shy at first, but then wanted to join in on =
each contact.
Thanks to BARC for sponsoring this wonderful event. We may be on the =
road for the June event, but the RV is set up, so we may join in from a =
remote location.
