[kids] Kids Day 2000

    I hope the rest of the country had as much fun with this as we did.  
Several members of the Chicago FM Club participated and shared the air with 
between 20-30 kids of all ages from various locations parts of the 
Chicagoland area and  locations including a front porch and a backyard pool.  
VHF repeater (CFMC 146.76) and 20M HF were very active with talk of favorite 
colors, pets, tv shows, and even some talk about learning to become a ham.  
Jerry (WA9KXZ) even has a couple ready for a bit of Elmering.  I commend the 
BORING ARC for championing Kids Day and can't wait for next year.
